Bold Brands Born in Bozeman
About our Friends at Intrigue
Just like Curious Creatures, Intrigue Ink isn't afraid to take risks, be bold, and sometimes a little irreverent. No wonder we're such big fans. Based in Montana and built by hand, Intrigue Ink blends playful creativity, vintage inspiration, and bold storytelling.
Intrigue Ink was founded in 2011 by two sisters, Tatum and Paige. They began printing together in a Bozeman garage armed with big ideas, a DIY press, and a lot of YouTube tutorials. What started as a shared creative experiment rooted in the Handmade Movement quickly grew through local markets and crazy community support. Over time, Tatum stepped into the role of sole owner and CEO, while both sisters continue to contribute as the brand's main designers and creative voices.
The brand has deep roots in downtown Bozeman and, in 2016, moved into their own storefront on Main Street, where it continues to operate today. You can visit them in person, or shop the full collection online!
A Day in the Life of Hank
Meet Hank, screen printer extraordinaire. We sent him a pair of Ramble Scramble Shorts. Hank works out of a warehouse on the edge of Bozeman, pulling a squeegee across cool designs and making good use of all his new pockets.
Then, because a man cannot screen print all day, he wheeled his bike out to the parking lot and drove off like the shorts had somewhere to be. They did. A trailhead.
Intrigue Ink makes things by hand for a living. We make shorts for people who live multiple lives in one day. Now, Hank has new shorts and we've got a friend with ink under his fingernails and a good excuse to be at Intrigue Ink more often. Watch Hank's entire day over on our Instagram.
