Sun Dog Pants, but also the Bitterroot Bloom Shorts
Who's Kira? Kira was planted on this earth around 3 decades ago and has lived throughout the Midwest, the Mountain West, and now the PNW, where her roots are firmly planted in the loam. She's a retired climber who started mountain biking a few years back and fell headfirst into the sport (figurativelyand literally). While there are many things that make her bloom, you'll find that good community, light beer, rock rolls, sunshine, and park days top the list.
What does being a Curious Creature mean to you? Eyes open to all the other creatures around you—the squirrels and ravens chattering while you're out on a ride, the banana slugs meandering across the trail, or the riders around you on a side hit you'd never considered.
What's something you love that other people consider weird?
The Front Bottoms
Go to trail snack? Gummy Worms
What inspires you? Any and all of the women and femmes absolutely throwing down on bikes in the freeride and DH scenes right now—the bar keeps getting raised every competition, jump jam, and race.

Sundawg Shorts or Pants with a Eatin' Grin Tee
Who's Jimmy? I started welding and mountain biking about the same time in Miles City, MT. I took a short sabbatical from MTB to pursue bull riding. I got stomped on pretty bad and that is what led me back to mountain biking. Now I am fully immersed in mountain biking! Building bike racks and riding as much as possible!!
What does being a Curious Creature mean to you?
Being curious means having a strong desire to learn, know or investigate something unknown.Being a creature to me means being kinda goblin-esque and mischievous. A true creature keeps people guessing, those around you must not know your next move or motive. Not everyone vibes with that but when you find other creatures that do vibe with that it’s magical.
What's something you love that other people consider weird?
I am allergic to bananas.
Go to trail snack?
Anything with artificial fruit flavors and high fructose corn syrup
What inspires you?
Generosity, innovation, kindness, art, humor and non conformity.

Grit Goblin Hoodie
Who's Tanya? Hey I’m Tanya! I’m a mountain biker in the gorgeous PNW where I love to ride everything from jumps with big airtime to steep loamy descents. Can also be found befriending forest snails. Riding my bike makes me feel so empowered and I love to share that feeling by helping create space for progression in my community.I host a weekly women’s dirt jump night in Bellingham called Golden Hour, and I help lead female-focused rides and clinics with Evil Bicycles. When I’m not riding, you can find me creating art, talking to my veggie plants, or becoming an aspiring birder.
What does being a Curious Creature mean to you?
Having a perpetual wonder and awe for the world around me, and remembering not to take myself or life too seriously!
What's something you love that other people consider weird?
Cereal for dinner
Go to trail snack?
Nerds clusters. No question.
What inspires you?
My friends, my community, change-makers, artists, people that keep going when things get hard, that push past their fear at any level, and those that are able to constantly redefine themselves, grow, and evolve!

Sun Dog Pants and Sun Dog Shorts! Love that stretchy waist band!
Who's Lila? I grew up in eastern Montana and eventually landed in Big Sky. I didn’t start mountain biking until after college, but I fell in love with it pretty quickly. What I enjoy most about biking is the opportunity for creative expression in riding, the ability to get lost (figuratively) in the mountains, and the wonderful bike community of weirdos. I also enjoy skiing, creating art, digging in the dirt, cooking, writing, yoga, and way too many other things. If you acknowledge and pet my dog, we will both love and respect you forever.
What does being a Curious Creature mean to you?
There’s so much going on in the world, and I think we have a tendency to overcomplicate the simple pleasures. Riding bikes is silly and I think being a Curious Creature is about embracing that. It’s about noticing and appreciating the strange little moments we experience while exploring the outdoors.
What's something you love that other people consider weird?
“Songs of the Humpback Whale” and “VOICES OF THE HUMPBACK WHALES ALASKA” are my go-to albums for solo chairlift rides. Solo chair lift rides only now because apparently whale sounds are spooky and uncomfortable?
Go to trail snack?
Dried mangos, mixed nuts, and the occasional whole pineapple with cutting board/chef’s knife.
What inspires you?
I’m inspired by witty friends, people who don’t take themselves too seriously, and activities that allow for tangible progress (shoveling dirt, shoveling snow, raking leaves, painting a canvas, learning new things on a bike, eating a bowl of popcorn, etc.).
Lila is the artist behind our Rad-ish Tee. We sat down with her to chat about her creative process, what inspires her work, and the story behind the design.

Favorite Product
The Sun Dog Pants. Love the zipper pockets!
Who's Stephen? When it comes to riding bikes I’m basically a dog chasing a ball, especially if there’s a chairlift involved. I also enjoy about any activity that involves being outside and connecting with others. Rock climbing and paddle boarding have been my go to non bike adventure lately. If I’m not playing outside, I’m probably coming up with something to create on my 3d printer.
What does being a Curious Creature mean to you?
To me being a curious creature means I’m always down to play outside with friends.
What's something you love that other people consider weird?
I still like short chainstays.
Go to trail snack?
Gummy Bears
What inspires you?
People way older than me who are still out there being active are my biggest inspiration.
