Sick of feeling like we were wearing shorts designed for pre-pubescent boys we dreamed up the Sun Dog Short. The 8.5" inseam hits that perfect middle ground—long enough for trail protection, short enough for town cruises and feeling good. Crafted with buttery-soft, ultra-breathable four-way stretch and a wide pull-on waistband that won’t dig, shift, or bunch. The Sun Dog short is where you see our obsession with fit shine through. Patterned and articulated for women - pedaling, running, hiking, and high-stepping these shorts are made to be lived in—wherever the day takes you.
This X is recyclable which is harder than it might seem. Instead of using spandex for stretch we used a special polyester stretch yarn for performance and fast dry times, with the bonus that it’s easy to recycle. If your Sun Dog Pant reaches the end of its very long, happy life, send it back to us for recycling or repairs, supporting a circular economy.
These pants were made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory using Bluesign® approved fabrics.
What even is a Sun Dog?

A sun dog is an atmospheric optical phenomenon that consists of a bright spot to one or both sides of the Sun. Two sun dogs often flank the Sun within a 22° halo making a beautiful and magical circle around the sun.
The refraction of sunlight is caused by ice crystals in the atmosphere which act as prisms, bending the light rays passing through. Sick, right?!
