We did the impossible: a technical synthetic tee that looks and feels like your favorite worn‑in cotton shirt. We built fabric with the performance features you need—moisture management, fast drying, and engineered comfort for sweaty activity—then finished it to feel like a vintage favorite.

Inspired by a vintage 1973 US ski team shirt, it keeps Curious Creatures details: a merrow‑stitched hem and durable flat seams built to withstand a pack.

The design is inspired by Tasha (our founder and designer) and her mom Viki’s old U.S. Ski Team shirt from 1973. Worn-in, soft, perfectly faded, with thick contrast banding at the neck and hems. The kind of tee you’d never throw away.We wanted something with the comfort and softness of your favorite tee, but with technical properties like being lightweight, quick-drying, and moisture-wicking.
So Tasha went looking for a fabric that could do the impossible, perform like a technical synthetic but feel like a tee you’ve owned for twenty years.

First off, I am a big fan of your clothing and have purchased a fair amount over the past year. I am only giving this tee four stars because I find the fit a little billowy around the waist/mid-section. It fits me well through the shoulders, but I would prefer a little more tapered fit through the waist. Love the color and the feel of the material! I will still wear it plenty!
Surprised this is a polyester performance tee, it is really soft and comfortable.
Got this in xxl. This thing is insanely COMFY. Type shirt that if you are jibbing a flow trail and it’s 69° out it doesn’t even feel like you’re wearing it
