The Men’s Sun Dog Pant is made from our famously soft, four-way stretch fabric—lightweight, breathable, and ready for long pedals or sendy descents. A low-bulk waistband with drawcord keeps things secure, while a full gusset eliminates awkward bunching. Tapered legs and snap cuffs prevent flapping and let you adjust for kneepads without dropping trou. Smooth lines, max mobility, zero distractions. Once you ride in these, there’s no going back to the bulky, overbuilt stuff.

We were sick of bulky, overbuilt mountain bike pants, so we built one based on an alpine philosophy: everything you need, nothing you don’t. A lightweight, breathable pant with max mobility, supreme comfort, and zero distractions.
The best thing for the planet is to buy less stuff. So why own five pairs of pants for five different activities when one pair of Sun Dog Pants can do it all.
-
We used polyester in this pant for performance and fast dry times, with the bonus that it’s easy to recycle. If your Sun Dog Pant reaches the end of its very long, happy life, send it back to us for recycling or repairs, supporting a circular economy.
All Curious Creatures gear is made in Fair Trade Certified™ factories using Bluesign® approved fabrics. Recycled content is used whenever possible. We are proud members of 1% for the Planet.

We also made these pants for lizards and goats.

From rock rolls to trail runs, these pants move with you — no bulk, no restriction, just that dialed knee articulation and buttery-soft flex.
Our muse, Jimmy putting new cuff construction to the test. Designed with snaps to tighten down or pull up for easy on and off of kneepads.
Comfort dialed, storage secured, and vibes that don't quit at the trailhead. The best pants you'll ever own.
Built specifically for berm bois and dirt dawgs. Once you try them you'll never go back to the bulky overbuilt stuff.
Super comfy for the hike in and all the movement needed to climb while being durable.
Love supporting a small team and such a fun pant.
The sun dog pants are perfect for shoulder season riding. Surprisingly durable for how light the fabric is. I was a little worried that the ankle might be a little loose on the drivetrain side but once you’re on the bike all the “slack” gets taken up and nothing catches.
I wore these for a weekend biking Targhee and Jackson and they are now my go to for fall riding. I love them!
My partner used these on a recent bikepacking trip and said these were super comfy. They also dried really quickly which was a plus when coming out of a rain storm. He did comment it would be great if they were a tad longer (he's 6'5"), but this wasn't a deal breaker. Overall they performed quite well, and they stayed out of the chain and cranks nicely.
I’m a woman, but I love brown. (If I don’t look like I’m clocked in for a shift at UPS, am I even dressed like myself? ) The smalls fit me like a dream, though they are a little tighter than the women’s cut. Just saying. Back to the men now.
