The Hungry Horse Jacket was named in the spirit of a Montana legend: two draft horses, Tex and Jerry, who wandered off into a brutal winter and somehow survived. This jacket channels that same stubborn grit — built cozy, durable, and ready for whatever the season throws your way.
(Though unlike Tex and Jerry, we don’t recommend testing your odds through a whole Montana winter in just this jacket.)

I love the plaid; it's beautiful. Super warm, awesome extra pockets!! I got a small and I'm very happy with the fit. I usually wear a medium but the small is still room enough for a long sleeve under it. Probably not anything thicker than that. If it would actually get cold here in SF, I could tell you more, but so far I love it.
I'm drinking camp wine, the fire is blazing, I have a baggie filled with snacking cheese, and I am wearing my new favorite wool layer.
Even in the rain, I stayed dry, warm, and felt like I was wearing a blanket.
My husband made me braid my hair and turn around so he could take a evermore inspired Taylor Swift picture.
My new favorite campfire hangout jacket I have fondly named my Smoking Jacket. Cozy and warm and perfect to throw over anything. Also looks cute as a fall layer. She's a sturdy layer and I've got lots of compliments on it!
Hi,
Great gift option. Love the color. Looks good, fits well, happy with it
I didn't realize this jacket would be such a good all-around jacket! It's really warm and cozy but also when unsnapped it's just a great comfortable layer. And the colors in the plaid that I bought go with so many different colors. Great for traveling because there are so many nice deep pockets and phone hideouts... 6 pockets I think!! I've had people stop me and asked me where I got my jacket. 😀😀 I have an XS and it's way comfy.
