The Role
We’re looking for a scrappy, people-first Marketing Events & Sales Specialist to help bring Curious Creatures to life during our busy summer event schedule! This part-time role sits at the intersection of brand storytelling, hands-on event execution, and direct sales — you’ll be the face of the brand at mountain bike festivals & events, trade shows, outdoor expos, and pop-ups, while also nurturing relationships with select wholesale and retail accounts.

This role requires a lot of travel – you will be responsible for the execution of 7 events from June-September many of them falling on weekends. Event schedule below.
What You’ll Do
Events, Expos & Trade Shows
- Represent Curious Creatures at all 7 Summer MTB festivals and events.
- Add additional pop-ups, and trunk shows across the Western region as needed
- Set up, staff, and break down Curious Creatures event booths and activations
- Work with local athletes and ambassadors to organize group rides and community events
- Engage attendees & customers with authentic storytelling about the brand, our products, and our mission
- Comfortable checking out customers and helping customers find sizes and styles
- Capture leads, track sales, and report on event performance
- Coordinate logistics including inventory, displays, travel, and booth materials
Wholesale & Retail Sales
- Work closely with founder to build and maintain relationships with wholesale partners and retail buyers
- Manage the sales process from outreach through order fulfillment and follow-up
- Identify and prospect new wholesale and retail opportunities aligned with the Curious Creatures brand
- Maintain accurate records of accounts, pipeline, and sales activity
- Collaborate with the founder on seasonal buying, pricing, and product assortment conversations
What We’re Looking For
- Passionate about the Curious Creatures brand and getting people outside and the joy of bikes
- Experience in retail, wholesale, event sales, or brand activations (outdoor industry a plus)
- Confident, communicator who can hold a conversation with a mountain biker and a retail buyer in the same afternoon
- Self-starter who can manage their own time, prioritize, and problem-solve on the fly
- Comfortable with physical event work: lifting, setting up, standing for long hours, long drives
- Willingness to travel regionally for events and trade shows often on weekends
- Familiarity with basic sales tracking or CRM tools a plus
Nice to Have
- Experience with outdoor specialty retail or the wholesale buying process
- Background in apparel, gear, or lifestyle brand sales
- Existing relationships with outdoor retailers or event organizers in the region
- Comfortable and excited about social media content capture at events (a quick photo or story goes a long way)

- This is a contract part-time role
- Flexible hours with increased availability needed around events and trade show season

We’re a small, scrappy team and we all wear a lot of hats — this role is critical to ensuring our customers, retail partners, and events reflect the quality and care of the brand. We are a fast-growing startup looking for someone who thrives in an organized, hands-on environment and takes pride in operational excellence.
The Role
The Warehouse Shipping & Events Coordinator will oversee daily warehouse operations including outbound shipments, inventory management, customer service, product returns, repairs, and event logistics support. This person will play a key role in maintaining operational accuracy, customer satisfaction, and a clean, organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and excited to work within a growing entrepreneurial brand.
The schedule is flexible; you’ll just need to be in the warehouse at least 3x per week with orders shipped on time.
Key Responsibilities
Shipping & Fulfillment
- Ensure customer and wholesale orders are shipped accurately and on time
- Coordinate packing, labeling, carrier pickups, and seasonal volume planning
- Monitor shipping performance and resolve issues proactively
- Maintain high standards for packaging quality and presentation
Customer Service
- Manage daily customer inquiries via email and ecommerce platforms (orders, shipping, returns, sizing, product info)
- Resolve concerns in a timely, professional, and brand-aligned manner
- Process exchanges, replacement orders, and warranty claims
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory counts; conduct cycle counts and assist with full audits
- Receive and process incoming shipments; identify and flag discrepancies or low stock
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and operationally efficient
Returns, Repairs & Quality Control
- Process customer returns accurately and on schedule
- Coordinate and track product repairs and warranty issues
- Inspect returned goods for quality and resale eligibility
Events & Brand Support
- Assist with logistics and packing for trade shows, pop-ups, photoshoots, and brand events
- Pack and ship event materials and product samples; support local setup and breakdown
- Maintain organization and tracking of event assets and displays
- Passion for leading local group rides and engaging in our MTB community is a big plus
Qualifications
- Highly organized self starter with strong attention to detail and ability to manage ambiguity
- Clear communicator and reliable team player
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced startup environment
- Experience with shipping platforms, inventory systems, Shopify, or warehouse operations preferred
- Customer service or retail experience preferred
- Able to lift and move boxes as needed
- Passion for the outdoors, MTB, or outdoor apparel a plus
Position Details
- Part-time with a highly flexible schedule — minimum 3x per week in the Bozeman warehouse

Position Overview: We’re looking for a creative, self-motivated Social Media Manager to join our small but mighty team. The Social Media Manager is the voice for community building and brings the Curious Creatures story to life. The ideal candidate is highly creative, social media savvy, adaptable and, excited to bring all kinds of ideas to life. A passion for mountain biking and the outdoors is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow our social presence across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and more.
- Plan our social media calendar around marketing initiatives, product launches, and content from UGC, ambassadors, and influencers.
- Execute the social calendar and support content creation.
- Use data and insights to optimize content and drive channel performance.
- Collaborate with the marketing team and adapt quickly in a fast paced startup.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in social media experience.
- Photography, videography, and content editing skills (we have a lot of fun ideas and need help with editing!)
- Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices
- Copywriting, storytelling, and visual communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast paced, evolving environment.
