We used a bio-based stretch yarn (no spandex!) that’s soft, breathable, durable—and recyclable when the time comes. The five-pocket style gives you room to move, while an extra low-profile phone pocket and zippered stash spot keep your digital lifeline (“on my way” texts, anyone?) and essentials secure. From loam laps to long hauls to impromptu BBQs, this short’s a key player in any mountain quiver.

The special bio based stretch yarn makes this product a singular content (polyester) making it easily recyclable at end of life – not true for most stretch products!
BUT it is also our most durable short so should last you ‘till yer old and grey and obviously still sending!

Well that was easy

Look, I am a simple person. I want nice shorts, a bit quirky, insanely durable and comfortable. I want shorts that fight for their lives as I subject them to torture as I climb a hill, crush a beer, hit the enduro trail on my garage built single-speed-death-frame and inevitably slide down the trail on my patootie after dragging brake down a shute that was above my paygrade. I want shorts that dont make my crotchular area as hot as the sprue of a volcano and as offputting and odorous as Steven Miller looks. I wish to not be scared of my own nether regions after a big ride. I wants a CHAMPION of shorts. So I looked. I found Curious Creatures. OH HELL YEAH THEY COME IN GREEN. Ordered. I paid my debts. I waited and skulked and agonized and then they came and MY CHAMPION SHORTS HATH ARRIVED. And woof the fit. Thank you Curious Creatures. Thank you dear reader. Im going now to sleep in said shorts in preparation for comfort and trail shredz past yonder morning and up ol' boot hill where my Specialized shorts gave up without so much as a fight.

Awesome shorts

I have no complaints. I love these shorts. I wish the men's pants had the same pockets these shorts have: both zippered and hand. Material is both soft and durable. Perfect for mtb rides and nice enough for post-ride pub stops.

Rambling and scrambling

I love these shorts. I wear them for MTB as well as hiking, fly fishing and beers at the local watering hole. Stylish while being very comfortable and versatile.
